Controlling Impression

I've chose to write a biographical narrative about my mother Visitacion Lozada. She came from the Philippines looking for a better life. She wanted to also be able make enough money to send it home to make their life better. But things changed when she met my dad. What i want people to get from this is that my mother is a loving person who went to America for that so called "American Dream." She never truly achieved her goal because of the way she is, she let people take advantage of her kindness. She still remained kind through everything that she has been dealt.
